Your Privacy

In line with the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we have updated our privacy policy to provide transparent and accessible information to our users about how we use and store their personal data. The first section relates to jobseekers using our site and the last section relates to how we use and store our clients’ data.

Information for Jobseekers

We use legitimate business interest as the legal basis for communicating with jobseekers in a way that is relevant and respectful.

If you register with us to use artsjobsonline, we store a limited amount of your personal data on our WordPress database, namely your name, email address and password. Your password is encrypted to keep it secure.

If you also sign up to receive job alerts via email, the criteria you select in your profile for job alerts will also be stored.

We will never share this information with anyone else.

If you wish to stop receiving job alerts you can unsubscribe at the bottom of the job alert emails and you can delete your profile entirely through your profile page. Also, you can ask us to delete your profile entirely by emailing admin@artsjobsonline.com.

In the event that we need to communicate a specific message to our users, for example, an update to our privacy policy, your email address will be shared with Mailchimp for this purpose and deleted within three months of the message being sent.

We also collect information by using cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer to provide a way for our website to recognize you and deliver the functionality of the site. More information about cookies and how we use them can be found here.

We work with Google Analytics and Clickmeter to gather statistical data about the effectiveness of our job listings. They use tracking pixels on our website to collect this information.

We also work with LinkedIn and Facebook to help promote our services and the roles we advertise to people who might be interested in working in the arts. They use tracking pixels on our website to collect information from visitors that helps us to target our advertising effectively. For example, if you view Ticketing jobs on artsjobsonline, you may see advertisements from us on social media promoting Ticketing jobs. If you do not wish to receive advertising on social media from us, please turn off this functionality in the settings on your social media platforms or alternatively you can turn off all targeted online advertising at www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/.
