Welsh National Opera shares the power of live opera with audiences and communities across Wales and England – in theatres, in neighbourhoods and online.

Welsh National Opera are looking to appoint a Corporate Development Officer who will contribute to generating income from businesses by strengthening and building WNO’s portfolio of business partners and prospects through effective research, database management, networking and relationship management. Equally important is the development of a thorough understanding of WNO’s brand, its assets and Company activity in order to identify interesting and creative opportunities for business support and engagement.

You will be based in Cardiff and will be required to work out of normal office hours and to attend WNO events on tour.

You must have experience of working in a fundraising/sales environment and have a demonstrable awareness of the business sector. You will have a keen interest in the Arts sector and a personal drive to succeed, develop and persevere to achieve objectives and gain experience. The ability to think strategically and creatively in addition to excellent organisational, communication, administrative and numerical skills is essential for this role.
