The salary range will be £29,802 – £34,867 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance

UCL Culture invites applications for the post of Theatre Technician at the Bloomsbury Theatre.

The post holder will be part of the Bloomsbury Theatre technical team who provide technical support to Theatre/Studio users to realise both commercial and student led shows and events.

To work in this role, you will have a good grounding in technical theatre through direct experience from working fulltime as a technician in a commercial theatre. You will be accustomed with setting up and operating lighting or sound desks on shows/events. You will have good basic knowledge of theatre technical equipment, with good practical skills using standard tools for their maintenance. We are particularly interested in applicants with a bias towards sound to broaden the skill set of the existing team. It is a multi-skilled position and training can be provided.  You will also be familiar with current Health and Safety legislation and its application in a theatrical environment. You will be able to demonstrate how you work successfully as part of a team.
