If so, an excellent opportunity is available at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s Assembly Hall Theatre.

The Assembly Hall Theatre delivers a diverse programme of live events from family shows, touring west end musicals and drama, top comedians to popular music. Seating 980 the theatre is well established regionally and in 2015 underwent a £1.5 million refurbishment with new auditorium seating plus a completely redesigned bar as well as major refurbishments and enhancements backstage and to the booking system and website.

We are seeking to appoint our first Development Director with the experience and dynamism to create and lead the Development Strategy of the theatre and grow a development team. The successful candidate should be a dedicated leader in their field with a proven track record of strategic planning, financial acumen along with excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills.

This is an incredibly exciting time and the successful candidate will help grow and shape our borough’s cultural heritage for future generations.
