Contract: Part-Time (0.8 FTE), Permanent
Salary: £24,804 – £28,149 p.a. (incl. LWA) pro-rata
Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is one of the world’s leading conservatoires, renowned for its forward focus and innovative programmes. We don’t just train our graduates for a career in music or dance – we challenge them to define their art forms. We do that within truly inspirational buildings, and within a vibrant atmosphere.
We offer the best physical environment of any UK conservatoire. Now it could be your job to help make sure that we have the best website and social media channels too.
The great news is that you’ll have incredible material to work with. We put on 400+ events each year, including international tours, festivals and performances across London. Our brilliant students, staff and alumni are making a huge impact on the world stage, so there are always great stories to tell. And our educational programmes – undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes plus other opportunities for dancers and musicians aged 3 to 103 – offer countless examples of innovation, excellence and success.
All of that can generate great video, imagery and text. Your challenge will be to work with the Web Editor and marketing team to capture this, and present it online. About half of your time will be spent capturing, editing and uploading audio and video content. The other half of your time will be spent supporting the Web Editor in general web maintenance and development.
It’s a demanding, busy and exciting role within one of the most diverse and vibrant educational and cultural organisations on the planet. One of your offices was designed in the 17th century by Christopher Wren, and the other won the Stirling Prize. Trinity Laban is a great place to work from every point of view. You’ll be part of a fantastic team of experts in web management, branding, graphic design, marketing and public relations.
Enough about us – what about you? You’ll have experience of working with websites, backed up with excellent IT skills and knowledge of HTML. You’ll also have experience of capturing, editing and uploading video and audio content, backed up with skills such as camerawork, sound recording and video editing. Experience of music / contemporary dance / education would be really helpful. You’ll be a motivated, committed and reliable team worker who can also take the initiative and work independently when needed.
