The New Art Gallery Walsall opened in 2000 in the heart of Walsall town centre. Since then it has remained a significant venue for the visual arts regionally, nationally and internationally. Hosting a vibrant artistic programme, combining the very best in contemporary art with the Modern and the historic, the Gallery is also home to the renowned Garman Ryan Collection and a significant collection of contemporary works. The impressive and award winning building provides a truly unique place for visitors to enjoy, discover, learn from and participate in the visual arts.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the team for the next exciting stage in the Gallery’s development:

Learning Coordinator – Ref: EE53216

£24,717- £29,033 per annum

To coordinate the planning, promotion and delivery of a varied, engaging and ambitious education programme for the Gallery. Working with schools, colleges, community groups and general visitors, this programme should contribute to the enhancement of learning and aspiration for all our visitors in a vibrant and engaging way.

You will be required to have substantial experience of managing education and events programmes in a gallery, museum or related cultural organisation and a relevant degree level qualification in arts or related subject.
