The National Gallery
Archived: Evaluation Assistant – Casual Pool
One of the aims of the National Gallery’s Learning Strategy is to use evaluation to create a better understanding of the impact of the Learning and National Programme team’s work. Casual Evaluation Assistants will help to fulfil this by contributing to the gallery’s evaluation and impact strategy.
They will conduct data collection at events, including observations, surveys and interviews with event attendees. After events, they will do some basic data entry.
Casual Evaluation Assistants will contribute to the delivery of the National Gallery’s Learning Evaluation and Impact Plan by collecting research data at a range of learning programmes and events. They will observe and speak to people at events to gather feedback, including families, school groups and independent adults. To help familiarise themselves with Learning events, Casual Evaluation Assistants may be asked to help with setting up or running some events. Casual Evaluation Assistants will also be responsible for some data entry after the event.
