We wish to appoint an excellent candidate to join our team, and support the Concerts Manager to coordinate the running of our varied concert programme at St Martin’s.  In this exciting role, you will work with the Concerts Manager, Duty Manager, Box Office, Concert and Music teams.  Your ability and passion to organise and communicate are key to making this a success.

Music has always played a central part in the life of our church.  With its striking Georgian architecture and outstanding acoustics, St Martin-in-the-Fields is London’s premier concert venue.  St Martin’s musical pedigree includes performances by Mozart and Handel, the UK’s longest running free lunchtime concert series dating back to Second World War and the founding of the Academy of St Martin-in the-Fields in 1950’s by Sir Neville Marriner and the then Master of Music John Churchill.   Today St Martin’s has over 350 concerts per year and is well known for offering a platform for talented musicians at the beginning of their careers, as well as hosting some of the finest ensembles, choirs and soloists in the UK.

You must have experience in arts administration, with commercial and financial experience.  All of this balanced and achieved through your excellent interpersonal and communication skill and the ability to work in a team will support you in this role.

Working at St Martin’s

Based at: St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London.

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, 5/7 days depending on concert programme

Salary: £25,000 plus Workplace Pension

Free filter coffee and tea throughout your working shift, 20% discount in the Café in the Crypt/Courtyard, Shop (excluding books and CDs) and limited concert concessions

Holiday entitlement: paid 25 holidays plus bank holidays

Notice period: 1 month.
