Arts St George’s
£37,660 – £47,778
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced dynamic individual to join St George’s university hospitals NHS foundation Trust as its Arts Director to lead the trust Arts Programme.
To be successful, you will have a proven track record in collections management and curation of a significant art collection to spectrum standards. A high level of experience of participatory programming within the clinical setting and an understanding of its importance to patients is essential.
You will be experienced at managing budgets, fundraising and developing artist relationships, giving direction and support to establish artworks, alongside hospital building projects.
Making use of your past experience and your desire to try new things, you’ll work across different arts platforms to continuously deliver new arts initiatives. You’ll be an accomplished manager of other arts professionals including volunteers, and adept at operating at all levels in a complex organisation.
Arts St Georges is always exploring new ways of funding all aspects of the Arts programme and has recently successfully submitted an application to the Big Lottery Fund in support of our Performing Arts programme and has been awarded £144,000 over the next four years.
The Arts Director will work closely with the Trusts and Foundations Manager of St Georges Hospital Charity, in reporting back to the BLF on the impact the grant will have had.
