Salary: £26,564 up to £28,863 inclusive annual salary + up to 18.5% employer pension contribution

Contract: Permanent

Annual Leave: 25.5 days, plus public bank holidays

St Albans is a unique English Cathedral City with a colourful history which can be seen in the Roman remains and variety of beautiful architecture, heritage sites and conservation areas. Set within green belt, off the M25, A1M and M1 the District includes a cathedral, historic city centre and charming villages. St Albans Museums runs several sites including Verulamium Museum, the 15th century Clock Tower and St Albans Museum + Gallery, at the heart of the city centre.

The Commercial Services Officer is a new yet pivotal role at the museums, created to support the successful delivery of our growing portfolio of commercial activities across retail, venue hire and catering.

Managed by the Commercial Services Manager, this exciting role will see you working across our museums to support our retail offer on site and online, support our prestigious events and venue hire packages as well as collaborate effectively with our catering partner; all to optimise opportunities for income generation and growth. A creative eye, ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage a varied workload are essential.
