Full-time, fixed term contract
Siobhan Davies Dance is an artist-led, international contemporary arts organisation, unique in the UK cultural landscape. We produce and tour the work of Siobhan Davies and commission new work from artists aiming to expand choreographic practice. Alongside this work we aim to offer a thought provoking programme of curated events, exhibitions and talks at our Studios in south London and engage and develop at all levels through our education and participation projects.
Reporting to our newly appointed Programme Director, the Producer will engage primarily in the detailed delivery of our performance and screened choreographic works nationally and internationally. The role will offer the opportunity to work across our programme and engage with the breath of our activities. We are seeking an individual who has experience working in contemporary performance, and understands the care and support for dance artists required in working in non-traditional performance spaces. The ideal candidate will have meticulous organisational skills, excellent collaboration experience and the ability to respond to challenges creatively.
This role is initially offered as a full time, fixed term position of one year, focused on the creation and presentation periods of our newest collaborative work. Touring and time away from our base will be part of the role.
