Shakespeare Schools Foundation (SSF) is a national cultural education charity that exists to improve the levels of literacy, communications skills and teamwork abilities of young people. Every year, our unique drama project gives thousands of children the confidence to stride onto whatever stage they choose, improving life chances and expanding cultural horizons. We’re looking for an outstanding creative and ambitious Communications Manager with excellent teamwork skills and a can-do attitude to join our team in central London. You will help increase the strategic profile of SSF in key sectors and with our target audiences. The successful candidate will own the charity’s brand and champion it to external and internal audiences. They will also manage all online communication channels and oversee the production of marketing materials.
Both strategic and operational, this is a key role within the Income Generation and Communications team and one that works across all areas of the charity. The post holder will work closely with SSF’s senior leadership to facilitate our ambition to become a leading cultural education charity and will work closely with the Fundraising and Events Managers to deliver exciting, large-scale events and campaigns.
