SCAN are seeking an exceptional and dedicated arts/events professional with relevant experience programming, planning and delivering events and workshops.
The coordinator will be responsible for the effective and professional delivery of SCANs programme which includes longer term projects and stand alone events. The coordinator will work closely with the SCAN Director and key project partners and stakeholders.
The post holder will specifically work on two professional development projects and help develop a wider programme of sector facing events for SCAN members and others.
The coordinator will bring with them a strong understanding of the contemporary art and gallery/museums sector. They will have had previous experience devising, planning and executing events at a professional level. The successful candidate will be confident, approachable and able to represent SCAN as required in multiple settings and contexts.
Fixed Term Contract: 18 months (subject to final funding)
Salary: £21-23,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience
Contract: 3 days a week (working days are flexible and to be agreed) Occasional evenings and weekend working required.
