Do you have experience developing inspiring and engaging content for a range of audiences? Are you a clear and consistent communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills?

We have an exciting opportunity within our Contemporary Science team for a 12-month fixed term contract. The team delivers numerous exhibition projects and public engagement events aimed at sparking curiosity and dialogue around new scientific and technological developments.

As the Content Developer, you will take ownership of several exhibition-based projects, identify objects and media assets for display and create text for various outputs including exhibition labels and signage. You will also support display installations and de-installations, supervising contractors where appropriate.

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you have a rigorous approach to research and fact-checking, a keen eye for detail, and possess the ability to process large amounts of information and distil it down to key messages and learning outcomes. It would be good if you also had experience of working on visitor-facing projects in a cultural organisation, although this is not essential.

You will be offered excellent benefits, including 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme, BUPA medical and dental care, an annual season ticket loan and numerous staff discounts whilst developing your career in a world class museum group.
