Sage Gateshead is an international music centre with multiple auditoriums, all with world class acoustics. Our building also contains a 25 room Music Education Centre, bars, a restaurant, café, and public ‘town square’ concourse anyone can enjoy for free. We are for audiences, for artists, for the North and for the long-term. Everything we do is guided by our values: Creative, Diverse, Focused, Leading, Responsible.
We are recruiting 4 musicians who are passionate about nurturing children and young people’s musical, social and personal progression. These musicians will or may have limited experience of music facilitation.
Trainees will be supported to develop their musical leadership skills and inclusive practice through paid, on the job training and shadowing opportunities across Sage Gateshead’s Young People’s Programme and Make Music Programme.
We recognise and understand the importance of diversity and inclusion. You will be welcomed at Sage Gateshead and will find an inclusive environment where different views and experiences are valued, and everyone is able to be themselves.
We welcome all candidates, and it is our policy that all applicants and employees receive equal treatment irrespective of sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, age, marital status or civil partnership, pregnancy/maternity or gender reassignment.
