And now it’s going to get even better, The Great Exhibition of the North starts in summer 2018 and is a major UK event celebrating the North.

We are seeking a Festival Producer as a key member of Sage Gateshead’s programme team.

The purpose of this role is to act as producer across a range of Sage Gateshead Festivals and commissions, the biggest of which in the next 12 months will be the Great Exhibition of the North. The role will lead the project team within Sage Gateshead and produce a range of visitor-focused high profile installations, performances, artist development and touring projects.

You will work directly with commissioned artists, with partners, support funding applications and liaise across the organisation on practical delivery on a portfolio of projects.

This is a very hands-on practical role requiring close collaboration with artists and partners, a high level of organisation and project management skill, great brokerage, communication and leadership skills and a passion for working with people and developing audiences.
