Location: Sage Gateshead, with some optional hybrid working in line with Sage Gateshead policy
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week – some evening and weekend working may be required
Salary: SCP 23, £23,571 per annum

About the role of Contemporary Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Sage Gateshead

The role of Marketing & Communications Coordinator with the Contemporary team is a varied, enjoyable role that involves working closely with people across the organisation. It would be best suited for someone who can bring their creativity to marketing campaigns and is comfortable communicating with artists and programmers as well as audiences.

The post holder will work within the Contemporary, Creative Learning and Artist Development teams to coordinate marketing and communications activity and maintain a strategic approach to marketing and sales. They will contribute to and administer a rolling programme of campaigns, and they will provide effective support for senior colleagues.

These campaigns will aim to increase awareness of, and demand for, a broad range of performances, events and programmes – including our wide-ranging Creative Learning and Artist Development programmes. They will also work with the External Relations team on brand and communications activity.

The post holder will work with other team members to make sure that marketing activity across the organisation is joined up and collaborative.
