As the next Head of Finance you will ensure the development and management of the Finance team providing strong leadership and direction, in addition to assisting in the Royal Shakespeare’s Company’s future strategy.
Manage the Finance Team, developing individuals, building effective team work and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
Support the Director of Finance and senior management team in developing and delivering the RSC’s financial planning and strategy, building strong working partnerships across the organisation and bringing the appropriate balance of support and constructive appraisal.
Lead the finance team in preparing the statutory accounts and financial section of the annual review in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
Lead the team in delivering efficient and effective processing areas including accounts payable, receivable, bank and cash, capital and payroll.
An ACA/CIMA qualified accountant with significant experience in progressive financial roles at a managerial level with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of motivating and developing high performing teams.
A strong relationship builder with the ability to influence and deal with people at all levels of an organisation, communicating complex financial concepts in simple and understandable terms.
Financially savvy and diplomatic, with knowledge and experience of applying the SORP on Charity Accounting, trading regimes and taxation as applied to not for profit organisations.
