Salary: Grade 4, £23,513 – £25,758 per annum. Appointments will normally be made to the first point of the grade.

An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen to join the RCM Box Office in the role of Assistant Box Office Supervisor, a key, customer-facing role within the Marketing & Communications team. Using the ticketing software Spektrix, the Assistant Box Office Supervisor assists the Box Office Supervisor in administering the day to day operation of the RCM Box Office and provides a first-class sales and information service to the public, students and staff.
The RCM Box Office sells tickets for the RCM’s two main venues: the 400-seat Concert Hall and 400-seat opera theatre, as well as for other internal and external venues at which RCM performances take place. Two further RCM venues will also be opening to the public as part of a large scale development project currently underway, which will significantly enhance the visitor experience.
The successful candidate with be a friendly, organised and reliable individual with previous experience of working in a busy box office environment, including cash handling and operating card payment systems. Experience of using Spektrix is highly desirable. You will have strong customer service experience, good organisational skills and an enthusiasm for live performance. The person appointed will be required to undertake some evening and weekend work and take responsibility for running the Box Office in the Supervisor’s absence.
