Archived: Trusts and Foundations Manager

Full Time: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary in the range: £29,753 – £37,558 per annum inclusive

Many of the world’s leading musicians and performers studied with us and we are firmly focussed on developing tomorrow’s musical leaders in a number of disciplines including classical, jazz and musical theatre.

We are seeking a Trusts and Foundations Manager to work closely with the Head of Fundraising in devising and implementing an effective strategy to generate substantial new income from trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, companies with corporate social responsibility (CSR) departments and other grant making organisations.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the expanding Fundraising team; working together towards achieving annual Fundraising targets. Philanthropy plays a significant role in the life of the Academy and supports our mission to develop and educate the musicians of tomorrow.

You will have significant experience in raising substantial levels of philanthropic income from trusts and foundations, together with excellent relationship building and organisation skills as well as meticulous attention to detail.  You will use your outstanding written and verbal communication skills to communicate the work of the Academy and have the ability to work on your own initiative, to work autonomously and as part of a small, busy team.
