About the Roundhouse:
The Roundhouse is a hub of inspiration where artists and emerging talent create extraordinary work and where young people can grow creatively as individuals. By giving young people the chance to engage with the arts through our music, media and performance projects, we inspire them to reach further, dream bigger, and achieve more.
The role will provide a high level of customer service to major donors and supporters including managing ticket requests, gift aid claims, being supporters’ first point of contact and fulfilling other support benefits. In addition, the role will be responsible for working with colleagues in the Music and Artistic Programming team to identify and coordinate a series of drinks receptions and special events to thank and cultivate new donors. Events this year include 2023’s Round House Takes on Yorkshire Three Peaks and planning for 2024’s Roundhouse Gala.
The post holder will have the ability to develop good relationships across the organisation and with supporters and be an excellent project and event coordinator.
This role would suit a friendly and organised individual who is passionate about the power music and the arts have to empower young lives. The right candidate will possess a high level of administrative skill and an interest in events. Fundraising experience is preferred but not required. Experience of working in a charity or cultural venue would be beneficial.
We welcome applications from people who feel they can bring their own skills, experiences and ideas to the table and empower those around them to do the same. We encourage those currently underrepresented across the cultural sector and all intersections of our diverse society to apply.
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one.
