About the Roundhouse:
The Roundhouse is a hub of inspiration where artists and emerging talent create extraordinary work and where young people can grow creatively as individuals. We believe in the power of creativity to change lives. By giving young people the chance to engage with the arts through our music, media and performance projects, we inspire them to reach further, dream bigger, and achieve more.
About you:
We welcome applications from people who feel they can bring their own experiences and ideas to the table and empower those around them to do the same, and encourage those currently underrepresented across the music industry and all intersections of our diverse society to apply.
The Role
We are looking for experienced Assistant Visitor Operations Managers to deliver our duty management at the Roundhouse. You will deliver day-to-day duty management, be the duty manager for smaller events, and support the Visitor Operations Manager in delivering the front of house operation for larger events.
You will have experience of supervising teams of staff and volunteers working in an operational environment, preferably a medium/large arts center or similar, as you will be working on a wide variety of activities. We will expect you to have been a duty manager or equivalent, and be able to develop our processes as our site expands. Accessibility is a priority for us, so plenty of knowledge of this is required, as well as knowing what it means to do a thorough check-sheet, sort the lost property and print the daily signage.
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one, due to the nature of the role.
