Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 according to experience

The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking a Learning and Participation Producer to produce a range of projects as part of the Orchestra’s Education Strategy for the formal education sector. This is a newly created role; the postholder will work closely with the Director of Education to realise the creative and strategic vision for the Orchestra’s education and participation programme. The role will encompass projects and programmes aimed at schools, music hubs, universities, conservatoires and adult learners; it will also encompass education content which amplifies and supports the Orchestra’s core concert offer.
The successful candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker who can work collaboratively across the breadth of the company and with external partners. The key objectives of the role are to produce a range of projects as part of the Philharmonia Orchestra’s Education Strategy for the formal education sector in collaboration with the Director of Education, building upon its success and working with colleagues to develop the programme; and to support wider artistic/concerts programme by producing educational content that engages audiences and invites fresh perspectives.
The postholder will line-manage our Education Assistant and report to our Director of Education.
