The iconic Natural History Museum is looking to the future with a new transformational strategy. The strategy aims to increase the already significant impact made by the Museum’s scientists on some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges, whilst continuing to provide its 5 million annual visitors with new awe-inspiring experiences.
A high performing Development team is central to supporting delivery of the Museum’s vision, and the new Director of Development is placing fundraising at the heart of the Museum’s strategic planning and implementation.
The team are poised to take development to the next stage, and are now seeking an ambitious and talented Individual Giving Manager to join in supporting the Head of Major Gifts and the Senior Major Gifts Manager in maximising income from high net worth individuals and major donors of gifts five figures +.
You will be an excellent communicator with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, confident and friendly attitude. Demonstrable experience of relationship management and a track record of developing and maintaining a network of contacts are essential for success in this role. You will enjoy working autonomously as well as within a team, and will be comfortable with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have an appetite to learn and develop and be keen to play a role in a high performing development team in a world renowned institution.
