The Natural History Museum is one of the world’s leading museums, internationally recognised for its dual role as a centre of excellence in scientific research and as a leader in the presentation of natural history through exhibitions, public programmes, publications and the web.
The Digital Content Producer is responsible for creating compelling, accurate digital content around the Museum’s science, events and exhibitions.
Working with staff across the Museum’s departments, the post holder will develop content across a range of subjects relating to the natural world, ensuring that content remains current and relevant across the Museum’s digital platforms.
The successful candidate will also provide training and support for staff commissioned outside the digital team to produce high-quality editorial features.
The Digital Content Producer will need to work with a wide range of Museum staff members, manage conflicting priorities and ensure that all content is produced to a high standard, adhering to best practice for digital content delivery. To be successful, you will be highly organised, diplomatic and an effective communicator.
The role will be based in the Digital Content Development team, in the Museum’s Content Production department. The team consists of nine digital content experts working collaboratively with colleagues across the Museum’s Public Engagement and Science groups. This particular role will support departments including Visitor Experience, Marketing, Commercial Development, Directorate, and the Museum at Tring.
