The National Theatre is recruiting a Senior Sound & Video Technician (Grade 3B).
This is a hands-on role, based in the National Theatre’s Sound & Video department.
The Senior Sound & Video Technician is a key member of the Sound & Video department, responsible for the technical realisation of NT productions from concept to day-to-day operation. They play a key role in the production process, as production engineer or as programmer/operator, providing specialist technical services to a consistent and high standard.
They will work with and without supervision, supervising and mentoring other technicians and will provide support for Sound & Video Operations Managers.
Applicants will require solid previous experience as a sound technician at a senior level, within a repertory theatre or other live performance environment, installing, programming, operating and supporting complex analogue and digital audio systems.
