The Role

Kings Place is recruiting for a Front of House Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to all visitors, whilst maintaining the smooth and efficient running of all Front of House operations and developing the venue’s facilities. They will provide an effective and welcoming experience for our customers and champion and promote exceptional visitor service throughout the whole company. This is an exciting opportunity for a front of house professional looking for their next step in a creative environment.

The role leads a team of visitor services professionals, ensuring they deliver exceptional service by both focusing on training and development, and demonstrating the highest standards of customer care as a Duty Manager.

The Person

We’re looking for a candidate with experience of management in a venue setting, including working in music and corporate events environments. You will be friendly and approachable, used to dealing with pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have good level of computer literacy with a proven track record of effective customer care. A confident communicator, you will have the skills to establish rapport and relationships at all levels, acting as an ambassador for Kings Place internally and with customers.

Reporting to the Senior Visitor Services Manager you’ll be joining a small but passionate Visitor Services team, encouraging fresh ideas and new working practices. Kings Place has eight Artistic Associates, including The Sixteen, Poet in the City and Aurora Orchestra, and is the home of a string of vibrant festivals, from the award-winning year-long Unwrapped series, London Podcast Festival, Songlines Encounters, Jewish Book Week to the London Piano Festival. We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation that would suit a driven individual with creative energy.

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 depending on qualifications and experience
