At ICON, we are seeking a Student Life Director (SLD) to oversee student health, safety, and general well-being, fostering an equitable and safe space for students to thrive.

General Job Description:

We are looking to build a caring and competent Student Life Team that will be hired and trained by the SLD. You will hire, lead, and support guidance counselors in their role providing student academic and social-emotional assistance. You will also hire and train a team of house parents as live-in support for our residence hall students.

You will collaborate with the Artistic Director (AD), Director of School Operations (DSO) and Curriculum and Instruction Director (CID) (ICON Leadership Team – ILT) to ensure all students are receiving what they need at school and serve as the liaison between home and school for all students. You will communicate with parents regarding questions and concerns about student life and academic and behavior policies as needed.

The SLD is supported by the COO of Nolte Companies and reports directly to the CEO. With the help of the ILT, you will design and develop academic and behavioral management policies both for residential life as well as expectations for daily school participation.
