Development Officer (Organisations)

Salary Range: £30,440 – £34,240 per annum (including London Weighting), depending on experience/performance

Permanent, Full Time: 35 hours per week

The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is a vibrant, international community of young musicians, actors and production artists in the heart of the City of London. We produce outstanding graduates whose talents light up stages and concert platforms throughout the world.

The Development Officer (Organisations) is a key role in the Development and Alumni Relations team. The post-holder will work within the team focusing on stewardship and renewal of a portfolio of donors, fundraising for donations up to £10,000 and the preparation of major donor impact reports and campaign funding applications with a specific remit to address and interact with organisational supporters (Trusts, Foundations, Livery Companies and Corporations) of the Guildhall School. They will also provide administrative support for the scholarship matching process.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to further their fundraising and communications experience. The post holder should have excellent interpersonal skills, with good attention to detail. Prior fundraising experience, a knowledge of digital and print communications, and experience of coordinating events and working on stewardship programmes is also desirable.
