Alumni Relations Manager
Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week)
Salary Range: £37,360 – £42,050 per annum depending on experience/performance (inclusive of Inner London Weighting)
The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is seeking an experienced, creative and confident Alumni Relations Manager to devise and implement the strategy for building and strengthening relationships with the School’s 17,000 alumni community, as well as with its Fellows, Honorary Fellows, staff, students and parents.
The School is a vibrant, international community of young musicians, actors and production artists in the heart of the City of London, ranked in the top ten higher education institutions for performing arts in university world rankings. We produce outstanding graduates whose talents light up stages and concert platforms throughout the world and who share their artistry in social and community setting to transform the lives of others.
This is an exceptionally exciting time to join the Guildhall School as we prepare for a comprehensive campaign to mark a significant anniversary, in which alumni will play a key ambassadorial role.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of alumni relations activity including alumni communications, events, volunteering and institution-wide liaison with senior colleagues. Candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, be adept at planning and managing alumni activity and measuring its impact, plus the ability to manage multiple projects to deadline. Line management experience is helpful but not essential.
