Extraordinary opera, extraordinary people
Glyndebourne is recognised globally as one of the great opera houses. We are committed to presenting opera of the highest quality, commissioning new work, developing new talent and reaching new audiences. Crucially, we have remained financially independent since 1934.
We are fortunate in the generosity of our members and supporters who sustain the Festival as well as other work, including Glyndebourne Tour and the New Generation Programme. We are looking for a Major Donor Fundraiser to join our established Fundraising Department which has an enviable track record of fundraising as well as cultivation and stewardship at the highest level.
This new role will focus on developing new supporters, managing a portfolio of new donors and solid prospects as well as existing donors, supported by a Development Officer to prospect and feed new leads.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced development professional from the cultural sector with proven ability to secure five figure bids.
We can offer an excellent package of benefits, a beautiful working environment, the opportunity to see world class opera and for those without their own transport we have a free minibus service to and from Lewes railway station and a season ticket loan scheme.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of this post, please contact Helen McCarthy, Deputy Head of Development, on 01273 815032.
