The Crafts Council is the national agency for contemporary craft. Our goal is to make the UK the best place to make, see, collect and learn about craft. Last year, over two million people attended Crafts Council exhibitions, fairs and events across the country.
Learning and Talent Development is a priority for the Crafts Council.
Our learning programme aims to ensure that every child and young person has access to inspiring opportunities to learn craft.
Our professional and business development initiatives support makers at every career stage to achieve artistic and professional excellence.
We are seeking a Head of Learning and Talent Development to lead and manage the Learning and Talent team, and to:
- Lead implementation of the Crafts Council’s strategy for learning and talent development.
- Ensure high quality delivery of programmes that create opportunities for learning and participation for children and young people nationwide, and that offer the opportunity for business development and growth for makers at different career stages.
- Build partnerships to create and promote learning and professional development opportunities.
