Archived: Junior Ensembles Coordinator

Full-Time, 37 Hours, Salary £24,150 per annum, Fixed-Term for 1 Year
Now in its Ninth academic year Bristol Beacon is home to the award-winning music education hub for the city of Bristol. As part of Creative Learning and Engagement (CLE) our Music Hub ensures that all children, whether in schools or community settings, can access and take part in high-quality musical activities.
This role coordinates and supports the development of ensembles, orchestras, bands and other music groups at our Junior Centre. The role oversees activities such as weekly rehearsals and inspirational performances and works with the Senior Ensembles and Choral Centre Coordinator to ensure smooth transitions from junior to senior ensembles.
You will have a music or singing background and a strong understanding of either orchestras, ensembles, choirs, bands or performing arts and a good understanding of the role of music education hubs and progression routes. You will be a strong administrator with good organisational skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of people including music practitioners, young people, children, parents, and colleagues.
