About The Role

You will provide a full and professional technical support service ensuring we carry out our production activities settling for nothing but the best. You will assist the technical management in all technical related duties but with an emphasis on the sound and AV elements of our productions on and off stage including get-ins, get-outs, show running, maintenance of technical equipment and general backstage housekeeping. This role is all about supporting all areas of lighting, sound, stage, AV, furniture logistics and maintenance related activities.

We will expect you to enhance our standing for operating a safe working environment, ensure high standards are maintained and deliver faultless customer service. Whether supporting visiting productions, carrying out maintenance or preparing events you will make your mark and build your reputation.

You must have experience of working with large scale musicals, ballet and opera or relevant maintenance activity in other sectors such as conferences and events.

Essential too, is the knowledge to rig and operate technical equipment covering lighting, sound and AV as well as the ability to lead a team during get-ins/get-outs and other technical work in the areas of lighting, sound and AV. You will also have worked with MAC and PC software such as Qlab, Parallels and Powerpoint. You will have basic LX skills too.

Highly organised and a good communicator you are effective at multi-tasking and have an eye for detail. Reliable, your flexible approach will be complemented by good team working skills. You will also have a good understanding of H&S legislation.
