Salary: £30,440- £34,240 per annum (Inclusive of Inner London Weighting), subject to skills and experience

The Theatre department presents an ambitious programme that crosses art forms, with outstanding artists and performers. We excel at projects that hover on the edge of classification. We showcase international theatre, dance and performance by leading companies’ auteurs and emerging artists that challenge the idea of what theatre can be.
Our busy Barbican Theatre department is looking for a stage technician to participate in the preparation and running of theatrical events, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and undertaken in a safe and professional manner.
This position requires individuals to use their initiative and work without supervision. You should also demonstrate a good understanding of relevant Health & Safety issues, some experience of working within a technical theatre environment is required, but training and development can be provided.
Weekends and unsocial hours working should be expected.
