Salary range: £35,090 – £39,680 per annum (inclusive of all allowances) depending on experience
The Barbican Centre is a world-class arts and conference venue, presenting an unrivalled international artistic programme across all art forms and offering facilities for hosting a wide range of business events e.g. conferences, AGMs and graduations.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Technical Manager (ATM) to assist the Technical Manager in directing and managing the technical delivery of the Barbican Concert Hall programme of over 1000 concerts and commercial events. The Assistant Technical Manager will support the Stage, Technical and Projection Teams in all areas of H&S, Maintenance, Event organisation and Project delivery.
You will have relevant professional technical training such as Technical Theatre training, PLASA certificates, ABTT training or substantial professional experience of working in a technical role in the arts/live events. A good knowledge of the Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices and experience in managing and motivating technical teams would also be required.
