Archived: Exhibition Manager

BAFTA is seeking an experienced exhibitions manager who can bring their enthusiasm, determination and expertise in curation, logistics, partnerships and communications to add to our existing Central London team.

Contract: Part-time, 3 days per week. Fixed-term for 12 months.

Salary: circa £38,000 per annum (pro rata)

Reporting to: Business Manager, Archive, Heritage & Exhibitions

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has held exhibitions that celebrate excellence in media arts since its foundation in 1947. It is now entering a new phase of exhibition work with a growing programme spanning photography and heritage, public events and exhibitions held in its iconic headquarters at 195 Piccadilly; with partner venues; online; and on tour. We are seeking an experienced exhibitions manager who can bring their enthusiasm, determination and expertise in curation, logistics, partnerships and communications to add to our existing Central London team. Educated to degree level or equivalent, the exhibitions manager will have a strong track record of delivering successful exhibition projects in a variety of contexts; good knowledge of the UK’s arts and heritage networks; a friendly, positive approach; and a passion for delivering BAFTA’s charitable mission of supporting, developing and promoting the art forms of the moving image by identifying and rewarding excellence, inspiring practitioners and benefiting the public.
