Join a small team who are making big plans to celebrate the life and achievements of Hull’s aviation heroine, Amy Johnson, with a festival of the arts and engineering. Programme planning for the 2 month festival, running from 1 July – 6 September 2016, is well advanced with a broad programme of exhibitions, music, theatre, outdoor arts and engineering related events. The Festival Programme Manager will work with the Director and Moth for Amy Project Manager to finalise plans and deliver an exceptional festival which is setting the scene for Hull UK City of Culture 2017. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder with good experience of programming festivals or mixed use venues, a real eye for detail, a delight in all art forms, the skills to develop and nurture our partnerships, an appreciation of the benefits of community engagement, the ability to manage budgets, and lots of energy!
